So, who are the Tivoli Youth Performers.
They are the Junior section of the Tivoli Club. The children involved are between 6 and 16 years of age.
It is not a school, but a performance group aimed at giving young performers stage experience and encouraging them to do the best they can and develop confidence.
You do not have to be experienced to perform with the Tivoli Youth Performers, however you need to commit to rehearsals at the beginning of each new show, and also to performance dates.
Auditions are held each year. This not a threatening experience and those who are shy can audition with a friend. Audition forms can be obtained by clicking on "Auditions" above.
See the dates below for the Tivoli Youth Performers 2022 show Rewind Time.
Bookings are not essential, however if you wish to do so you can book through this website (Bookings and Enquiries Page) or leave a message on our bookings line 9364 5463. You may also book via trybooking.

The Tivoli Club of WA holds a unique place in the entertainment scene of Western Australia - being the only non-professional theatre that produces three variety/cabaret shows throughout the year.
Founded originally in 1971 by Jack "Skinny" Martin to do a restricted number of shows, it was found that the real "Old Time Vaudville" entertainment proved popular with audiences.
The Club was mobile, giving performances in various suburban halls and clubs throughout Perth.
In 1973 the Club found a permanent home in the Applecross District Hall, now referred to as the Tivoli Theatre. It was at this time the Trembath School of Dance was approached and agreed to join the Club and provide dancers for the shows.
Dorothy Trembath had established herself as the leading teacher of acrobatics in Australia when her pupils had a succession of wins on National TV. Dorothy joined the Club and became the Producer and Choreographer and her husband Bill became the Musical Director. In 1985 Dorothy's daughter Marilyn joined the Club as Choreographer. Marilyn Trembath had performed with many artists including, Lisa Minelli, Wayne Newton, Sony, Cher and Dean Martin. Dorothy passed away in 1990 and since then the Club has had several Producers all bringing their own unique style to the Club.
Many artists have had their first stage experience at the Tivoli Club including Rochelle Durkin, past Soprano at the Metropolitan Opera New York; Tammy MacIntosh, Actress; Jackie Love Singer/Dancer; Patricia Stephenson; Colin Hurley; Peter McIlroy. Several of our former performers have gone on to perform at the Moulin Rouge, Stage Productions (such as Wicked and Mamma Mia) and on Cruise Ships.
The Club does not receive any grants from the government and is unique in that it is totally self funded, all cast and crew are volunteers. The Club prides itself in providing low cost entertainment for the public of Perth and is committed to fundraising for charity some of these included: Radio Lollipop, Junior Diabetes Foundation, Royal Flying Doctors, WA State Emergency Services, Esther Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and many more.
In the 1980's introduced a junior club original called "The Melville School of Stagecraft" now known as "Tivoli Youth Performers". Young performers aged 6-17 are given the opportunity to perform one show a year (four performances), allowing them to develop their talents and confidence.
For more than 40 years The Tivoli Club of WA Inc has provided a variety/cabaret style show to the public of Perth and still continues to be self funded with all performers and crew being volunteers.
